On behalf of the Board, Faculty and Staff, I welcome you to the Institute of Strategic and Development Communication (ISDEVCOM) of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, the home of empowerment, dialogue and innovation. As you engage in understanding the academic culture in the University and indeed this Institute, you will likely realize that ours is a unique research-driven system which is carefully tailored to suit the development of our scholars’ full potentials as well as the development aspirations of Nasarawa State in particular and Nigeria at large.

Since inception, our Institute has initiated series of trainings in Development Communication,  Information Communication Technology (ICT),  Digital Virtual Communication, Social Media for Public Engagement,  Film and Media Arts Production,  Participatory Rural Action(PRA), Lobbying Policy and Advocacy, Social Mobilization, Behavior change communication, Science communication, Theatre for Development, Media and Entertainment laws and Ethics, Communication and Entertainment Entrepreneurship, Community Organizing, and Film Editing Workshop and Cinematography. These are interventions intended to support organization’s growth and develop human capital in the African development sector.
